Hello and welcome!
My name is Brooke, owner and sole operator of Brooke Carroll Studio + Colorbar! I’m an independent stylist in Coralville, IA located in Salons and Studios.
I was raised in the north woods of Siren, WI and grew up enjoying close family (we all live on the same road, so literally close), best of friends, outdoor activities, my fur babies, art and design of all sorts.
I love my industry and the freedoms I can express as an independent stylist; dedicating my drive, energy, passion and giving my all in achieving a desired result in your appointment with me. My goal is to make you feel uplifted, genuinely excited with your new results, and confident in a customized maintenance plan that we will create together!
I love the relationships grown with each of you as you relax in my chair! All of the conversations, laughs and fun ideas together are what makes this industry a dream for me!

Studio Policies & FAQ
What is your rescheduling/cancelation policy?
If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please refer to your digital confirmation and click "Cancel Appointment'.
Please give a 48 hour notice when canceling an appointment. I am a one-woman business and rely soley on my scheduled appointments. Any notice less than 48 hours makes it difficult for me to schedule someone else in so that I am not losing out on the time that you reserved for my service.
All guests are given 1 “Grace Appointment” per calendar year for last minute changes or cancellations. If you CANCEL or NO-SHOW the day of your appointment and you have no-showed me previously, I will no longer accept appointments with you.
Please arrive no more than 15 minutes late to your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be have to be modified or rescheduled.
If possible, please come solo to your appointment. This includes children, significant others and friends unless they have services with me booked as well. Please note that they will have to wait outside of my studio in the common waiting area, as my space is designed to treat one guest at a time.

How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please arrive to your appointment with clean, dry hair, and avoid wearing shirts with a high neckline (i.e. turtlenecks, collared shirts, others of this sort. Hair sticks to them and color can stain them.).
Are there additional costs?
Additional charges may be applied for the length and thickness of your hair, as well as the amount of product used and extra time required for completed appointments.
It is my utmost goal to be as fair and upfront as possible when it comes to my service prices.
What is your return policy?
Retail items purchased from the studio are returnable for an exchange or full-refund for 14 days after purchase. Item(s) must not be used more than a few times, and product receipt must be presented upon return.
What if I am not satisfied with my service outcome?
More than ANYTHING, I want you to LOVE your hair and be happy that you chose Brooke Carroll Studio + Colorbar!
If you are dissatisfied with the results of a haircut or color service, please reach out to me privately right away... I want to make it right!
If your appointment did not turn out as we both expected, you will be booked a prompt appointment and your service will be re-done at no cost.

What forms of payment are acceptable?
Credit and debit cards, cash and Venmo are all accepted forms of payment. Please note all card processing transactions will incur a small convenience fee.
Cash is preferred.

Texting and emails are preferred, and much more efficient. They allow me to respond conveniently and quickly throughout my business day as an independent stylist and solo operator.
